Transfer from another university

VŠFS recognizes those subjects studied at another university in the Czech Republic which are related in contents, and on the basis of such recognition it makes it possible for students of another universities to be admitted to a higher year of VŠFS.

The VŠFS recognizes only subjects completed at another university in the Czech Republic which were held within study programs accredited by the National Accreditation Bureau for Higher Education (Národní akreditační úřad pro vysoké školství).

It is possible to file an application form for recognition of subjects and for studying in a higher year any time in the course of an academic year, and based on such recognition, students are flexibly placed in a relevant semester of the given academic year.

Admission in a higher academic year is usually made possible through an individual study plan so that students can comfortably complete any potential subjects of lower years which have not been recognized.

An admission form for studies in a higher year can be sent elektronically or you may fill out a printed form SEVT 49 145, 2 MB. A fee for the electronic form is lower.

An application form for the recognition of subjects has to be completed electronically and the print-out copy submitted in the Information center of VŠFS (see the address below).

The following documents/appendices must be a part of the application form for the subject recognition:

the original statement of completed subjects at a previous school or its certified copy
the certificate on the payment of administrative fees: an admission fee and a fee for the subjects recognition and for the development of an individual study plan
proof of payment of the fee for admission procedure
the filled-out table of the subjects completed at another university which are to be recognized and of the relevant subjects which are studied at VŠFS (the table is a part of the application form)
Syllabi of the subjects completed at a previous school which are to be stated in the table

Study plans and subjects

In order to complete correctly the table of VŠFS subjects (as a part of an application form for recognition of subjects) that you require to be recognized as equivalent subjects, or relevant as for their contents, which you have successfully completed at your previous school, please use study plans that are published on the VŠFS web page under the individual study programs.

Tution fee

The tuition fee corresponds to the current credit value of the subjects which the student must complete in the relevant year. The student does not pay for any subjects which have been recognized.

Fees for admission procedure

CZK 500 when submitting the application (payment by money order – type A, bank transfer to the VSFS account or in cash) until the start of the admission procedure.
