University of the Third Age MOST

Brief description

The general aim of the project is to educate senior citizens who may, within the semester, attend various 12-hour courses selected according to their interest and based on the offer.

Task of VŠFS in the project

VŠFS is an organizer of this project. It ensures the courses from the organizational point of view and provides a base for teaching (classrooms, instructors), study materials, etc.

The following are the partners of this project who contribute financially to the courses: the statutory town of  Most; the town of  Litvínov; Severočeské doly, a.s.(mines of Northern Bohemia, j.s.c.); Severočeská teplárenská, a.s. (a heating plant of Northern Bohemia, j.s.c.); United Energy, a.s.; Senioři České republiky (union of pensioners), a regional organization of Most and Litvínov
