Form and Purpose of Studies

The aim of the American Bachelor study is to provide comprehensive education in the field of undertaking and business in international environment. In accordance with the purpose of the program the student should become a mature, conscientious and responsible individual interested in self-educating.

The program is designed for present and future secondary-school leavers who want to broaden their knowledge and open the way to acquiring American academic education with particular respect to the knowledge of practical activities of international businesses. The lecturers are experts on real environment of current business world and are able to effectively help the students apply the knowledge obtained.

The BSBA study at VSFS starts in every October. Classes are taught by English speaking lecturers. The program can be studied in four trimesters through the academic year and there are, at the most, three subjects in each trimester. Each subject is scheduled to 30 contact lessons and 20 on-line lessons. The assemblies take place on week days or on weekends. Each course has a e-learning part when the participants discuss new topics through a discussion forum and it lasts for 10 weeks. Through this period the students continuously  fulfill the requirements to get the credits. Some courses conclude with a written examination. The final course of the program is on Business Strategy and concludes with working out a business plan.

BSBA can not be studied as single program at University of Finance and Administration. Possible is only unique combination of Czech bachelor study and BSBA (Joint Degree program)
