15.09.2014

On Friday, 12th September 2014 at 11 am, the Lord Mayor´s Parlour of Žofín Palace in Prague became a venue for a special event – signing a triple-party agreement that launched a unique cooperation between Changchun University of Finance and Economics (Jilin province, China), City University of Seattle (Seattle, USA) and the University of Finance and Administration.

It is a unique project of a triple-party academic partnership among the Czech Republic, China and the USA, offering Chinese students to participate in a Czech-American educational programme.

The study programme has been carefully prepared and consulted with experts from these three countries for the last six months and its preparation has been completed by signing the triple-party agreement in attendance of distinguished personalities of these universities.

The first group of students is expected to arrive in Prague in September next year.

All three parties continue intensive cooperation in terms of preparing the details of study plans, providing assistance to students, overcoming language and cultural differences so that the programme can successfully fulfil the vision of Chinese students and intensify the cooperation between our countries.

„The future cooperation in the area of education system, industry as well as commerce with these countries is evident, which is why we believe that interconnecting and understanding those cultures will help their further development,“ adds Bohuslava Šenkýřová, rector of VŠFS.
