University of Finance and Administration follows the events in the Ukraine with great concern and compassion. Our university utterly condemns the violence of war, the breach of international principles of sovereignty and peace, and deeply regrets the human suffering of all innocents pulled into this conflict.
Our university’s inherent objective is education. Academic field is a field of free opinions, an environment where politics and party affiliation do not and must not play a part. However, we are not indifferent to any form of injustice, and this also applies to all of our students, regardless of nationality or creed. We always defend, help and protect our students. We are looking for, and we will continue to look for, the ways to help, while opposing any type of discrimination. We might have become mere onlookers in a play of global politics which far surpasses our ability to influence the current events, but we are still people who can and must prevent any injustice in our surroundings. Let’s keep this in mind. We are prepared to offer individual approach to each of our foreign students and seek the solution to their situation together.
Dear students, colleagues and friends of our university, let’s uphold the banner of education and freedom even at this difficult time.
