The delegation of Vysoká škola finanční a správní (which contained Bohuslava Šenkýřová, Petr Budinský, Roman Mentlík and Ivan Gála) participated in the celebration of the 30th anniversary of the foundation of Changchun University of Finance and Economics (CUFE) – the partner university in Changchun, in the province of Jilin, in China. The representatives of universities from a few countries of the world were invited to the celebration, eg. the representatives of Japan, Austria, Mexico, Korea, etc.
During the celebration the province government granted a certificate of merit to the Rector Bohuslava Šenkýřová for her extraordinary contribution in increasing the level of education in the Jilin province.
The main celebration, in the presence of Klára Jurčová, the representative of Czech Embassy, of the top province representatives, CUFE and other significant guests, was held at the local stadium and was viewed by 12 000 people. The Rector gave a short speech.
During the evening part of the programme the Rector was granted a certificate of merit „Guest Professor“ and a contract on cooperation between both universities was signed for another five years.
