The event, arrange with auspices Milos Zeman, the president of The Czech Republic, took place on the 14th and 15th November 2016. Rector, Bohuslava Šenkýřová appeared in one of the main discussion, which were listed in the schedule on Tuesdays, 15th November 2016 at the Prague Castle.
During her appearance, the rector of VSFS introduced the University of Finance and Administration and also presented the unique Czech – Chinese – American educational project called Triple Degree. The presentation was warmly accepted by not only the Czech but also by the Chinese participants China Investment Forum is organized by Czech China Chamber of Collaboration and it takes place every year since 2013. The event should support the business relations between Czech Republic and China. This year forum hosted approximately 1000 guests. Half of them was from China. “Out university does not cooperation only with China. We have international students from almost 50 countries all around the world. Project Triple Degree offer highly qualified managers with language skills and great knowledge of local and American environment to companies, which would like to operate in Czech Republic or Europe. Similar project is not organized by any other university in Czech Republic”, said rector Bohuslava Senkyrova. “Currently over 50 students are studying at VSFS and next year we expect approximately 100 students. The interest among Chinese students is huge, even the dormitory capacity is not sufficient”, added the rector.
VSFS has very long friendly relationship with Czech China Chamber of Collaboration. For example, its representatives has attended the commencement ceremony during the first days at VSFS.
