As the new semester has started VSFS has welcomed new group of Erasmus+ and International students. They came from our partner universities, which are located in many different countries all around the world. Most of the students arrived from Spain, UK, France, Italy and Germany as well as we are having students from Mexico.
During the Orientation week which started on 26th September students had many interesting, valuable and funny activities, which were prepared cooperating with International Student Club (ISC). Monday has started with a welcoming word of Vice-rector for Education Doc. RNDr. Petr Budinsky, CSc and Vice-rector for External Relations Ing. Roman Mentlík. Students got to know most important information about studies at VSFS and bowling was waiting ahead! On the second day of the Orientation week international students had a guided tour around Prague. Students were able to learn more about the culture and history of the Czech Republic, as well as they had an opportunity to experience and see Prague from a different perspective during the boat trip on the Vltava river. The third day was also dedicated for the sightseeing and culture. Students together with ISC were visiting Petrin tower, Mirror Maze as well as the Ministry of Culture of the Czech Republic in Nostic Palace. On the fourth day students had a seminar which topic was the Culture Adaption in the Czech Republic. There was a trip to the famous Prague ZOO on the last day.
