Take up the challenge and come to the Congress Centre of the University of Finance and Administration, Estonská 500, Prague 10, on 13 October 2015 at 12.00 pm to listen and watch the presentation of Global Management Challenge (GMC). The main prize is a free MBA programme (the competition prize was donated by our University) and the participation in the international final at Macau.
Again this year, the J&T Bank is the general partner of the competition and ŠKODA AUTO is the major partner.
And why should you take part in the competition? You’ll get an opportunity to test your theoretical knowledge in practice as well as new experience in the key management fields of a virtual company. You can compare yourself head to head with your competitors from other teams of managers and Universities. You’ll work together with VIP companies that become sponsors of competing teams. And so you win a chance for a good job because many of the past participants got employment with a company sponsor in direct continuation of mutual co-operation.
Global Management Challenge will test management skills of students in theory and practice and in parallel, it will teach them to face the consequences of their decisions. It only depends on them whether the virtual company that they are managing will succeed in selected markets. One of the major assets of the competition is that students can work together with prestigious companies. They get involved in the project not only as partners but also sponsors supporting their teams. Companies provide professional assistance to competitors, taking them into the principles of corporate governance, however, students are fully responsible for their own decisions.
