Some messages are really hard to deliver.
How to find the right words when during a very short time you unexpectadly lose two close colleagues, excellent experts in their professions, people you could always rely on, and above of all – your friends.
Last week, James Caldwell (a professional in the area of Law) and Ciaran Seamus Kelly (expert in the field of Marketing) passed away. Both of them were our longtime lecturers in the MBA and BSBA study programs that we offer in cooperation with the City University of Seattle, USA. Ciaran was also about to start his cooperation within the VŠFS study program of Marketing Communication.
Apart from the same nationality James and Ciaran had one more thing in common – both were exceptional men and students loved them. The were able to pass on their knowledge and experience in a unique way.
Nothing was an obstacle to Ciaran. He considered everything as a challenge and opportunity. In his vicinity, you had a feeling that a tornado, hurricane or typhoon is rolling up at you. Not a devastating one, though. More like the one that helps wring the best out of you.
James, on the contrary, was a calm force. Concentrated wisdom of the world and all decades.
A piece of the soul of the MBA and BSBA programs left with them. We are deeply sorry. We liked them very much and we lived through a lot together.
Sincere condolences to both families.
