Make a Financial Contribution to VŠFS Scholarship Fund

01.12.2014

Our students and employees prove that we do not view social responsibility only as an empty phrase. On Tuesday, 25th November 2014, the Congress Centre saw a traditional calendar launch to support scholarship study programmes for socially and physically unfortunate students. Bohuslava Šenkýřová, photographer and University rector presented her journey to India.

However, it was the first time in our university history that we included the launch of the 2015 Diary as well – a present prepared for all our fans for the 15th Anniversary of the University of Finance and Administration. It is full of photographs from all over the world. Each month shows one country - everything arranged in the precise order corresponding to the months during which Mrs. Šenkýřová visited those countries.

This year´s launch was exceptional for many other reasons. Naturally, there were two godfathers; the calendar was launched by Indian geologist and healer with Ajurveda Govind Rajpoot. The short interview between him and the rector on the stage revealed a tiny piece of such a diverse Indian world. The diary godfather was our student Pavel Callta – a young singer who attracted the audience´s sympathy, definitely winning new fans.  He performed three songs, one of which „Therapist“ was actually the world premiere since Pavel finished it only three days prior to this event. In February, this talented singer releases his debut album „Moments“.

If you could not participate in this launch, there is a photo gallery available on our website. You can receive the India 2015 Calendar signed by the author at the Rector´s office (1st Floor, Estonská 500, Praha 10) for your financial contribution of CZK 200,- to VŠFS Scholarship Fund. Support a good thing and enjoy wonderful photographs of mysterious India full of contrasts during the whole 2015.
