From this year our university will be an organizer of the world famous competition in the area of simulating the strategy of a company‘s management. The VŠFS not only has become an organizer of this competition but also holds a licence for this competition for the Czech Republic and Slovakia. In the past, our school actively participated in this competition by sending its own teams and also by donating main prizes of the competition ( a free MBA study in our school).
Thus the university follows the thirty year old tradition of this competition in which 39 countries world-wide participate. Due to the fact that the competition started a few months later this year, there will be only two rounds held in the Czech Republic. The National Final Competition is planned for March 2012. This time the World Final Competition will be held in April and will take place in Kiev.
This week a meeting of potential team representatives took place at VŠFS. Mr. Petr Budinský, the prorector of the university, and Mr. Vladislav Flek, a pedagogue of the department of international relations and economy, presented the students with the concept, rules and manual of the competition.
