We are bringing you a report on the lecture by the MP of the European Parliament Edvard Kožušník. It took place on Wednesday, 19th October 2011 in our Congress center. During the informal discussion Mr. Kožušník described his several day journey by bike to Strassburg, his acceptance into the parliament and its functioning.He prepared a present for the students and pedagogues – a book by František Šesták Na kole do Evropského parlamentu (To the Europan Parliament on a bike) and also an interesting publication by his Dutch colleague Derk-Jan Eppink Ohňostroj evropské byrokracie (Fireworks of the European bureaucracy).
