On Friday, September 16, the 14th International Science Conference on Human Capital and Investments into Education took place at the Congress Centre of VŠFS. Experts from the Czech Republic, Canada, Poland, Slovenia and Great Britain focused on the role of education not only as a development factor of the society but also as a valid social force which can support effective functioning of the social system.
As concluded at the conference, education presents an element which supports successful process of necessary reforms in all areas (including pension and health care reforms frequently discussed by media).
That is why the discussions partly covered the issues of corruption and associated features which enable an outflow of public finance into private lobbies. The language spoken at the conference was English.
