On the occasion of the two-day international conference White Book and What Follows? Reform of Tertiary Education in the Czech Republic, an evening discussion between a team of OECD experts and all those interested in the topic, including not only the students and staff of our school but also rectors and experts from other private institutions of tertiary education, took place on Thursday 15 October 2009 in the Congress centre of the University of Finance and Administration. The OECD examiners Gregory Wurzburg, Thomas Weko, Anita Lehikoinen and Richard Yelland, together with the moderator, Petr Budinský, a Vice Rector of the University of Finance and Administration, and the Rector of the University of Finance and Administration, Bohuslava Šenkýřová asked and answered questions concerning the quality of studies at private institutions of tertiary education, their development strategies and position in the education market, the possibilities for cooperation with the business sphere and many others. The communication with the team of experts was conducted mainly in English, only a few individuals opted for the interpreter.
