Attracting huge interest from students, alumni and representatives of the insurance sector, a lecture by Lord Peter Levene, Chairman of the British insurance company Lloyd´s, on the subject of Future of the Insurance Industry took place on 6 October 2009 in the Congress centre of the University of Finance and Administration.
His expert presentation was followed by a lively discussion, which brought up sophisticated questions primarily concerning the economic crisis and its impact on the insurance industry. Lord Levene was accompanied by Enrico Bertagna, regional manager for Europe, and Carola Pisani, manager of EU projects. The event was moderated by a Vice Rector of the University of Finance and Administration, Petr Budinský.
